The Autonomous Winch for Scout vehicles is a life saver. Pull in most of the slack and boom, now you have a double trailer convoy! Keep the first trailer attacked, them go to the winch menu and select that back of your first trailer as the winch anchor point and then select the front hitch of the second trailer as the attach point. Example, you have a fuel trailer already attached to your truck, and encounter another trailer you want to drag back home to the garage or with you on a mission. You can chain multiple trailers together via the winch. Vehicle to vehicle fuel transfer is possible without any upgrades attached. You don't have to have a fuel trailer to do this. From there you set your target and source vehicles and you can transfer fuel. You can refuel vehicles from any other vehicle with fuel if you drive up close enough and hit the quick menu button (up on D-Pad on PS4) and select refuel option. This is a good way to target the things you need. From the map screen, to check what supplies each supply points contain, or what supplies are on the trailers randomly scattered about the map, hover over the object and hit R3 (on PS4) and it will show you an overlay of what items are there. Some trailers also have supplies already loaded on them which can make missions easier and quicker if you grab them instead of going to one of the main supply points. Collect the random free trailers on the map and sell them at any trailer store for some easy money. You just need the bridge repaired first that is part of the shortest route from the Farm to the objective You can do it easily with the Fleetstar and it takes about 5 minutes to complete from recovering at your garage each time. The Farm Supply time trial challenge (stop watch icon) is any easy mission grind early if you want some quick extra cash or to hit the next XP level. The black silhouette icon on a task means you haven't activated the start point yet. Otherwise you can end up what you think of as the task start but is half way across the map from where it actually starts. You can then start and track those tasks missions when ever you want after that. As mentioned earlier, grab any and every tasks activation marker box as you come across it. Easy delivery amounts and it opens up more routes Clear the road obstruction tasks early on. I actually prefer my Chevy pickup compared to the Khan (DLC/season pass/premium bundle Scout vehicle) when it comes to flip over stability. The DLC scout does come with good tires from the get go, but by no means are you limited if you didn't go premium/DLC. You can get some good tires on the Scout 800 and Chevy pickup much sooner than you can with the bigger trucks and it makes them scouting/exploring beasts. Again, buy and sell is 1:1 value so there are no mistakes to be made by buying something to see what it is like and then immediately recovering, retaining, and selling it back if you don't like it. Retain your vehicles and then go to the Trucks section of your garage menu to sell them. Not sure of the exact numbers, but you can get it without grinding a ton of missions You can get the first off-road truck, the Paystar pretty early by selling your GMC, Fleetstar and Chevy pickup. Buy and sell trucks in your fleet as needed. Buying and selling, back and forth is never a loss. That said, once you get a grasp of what the snags are, you can really get going and do a lot just in the Black River map of Michigan. I agree that there is a decent amount of this game you have to figure out through trail and error, which can be frustrating or catch tips from forums, friends or youtube videos.
